Lost Paths

I have been asked for suggestions by a lot of individuals who have lost their belief in their faith for it has proven to be either disappointing or their fiery passion of their belief has become stagnant leaving them numb and lost. My suggestion is this my brother’s and sister’s it is times like this in our life’s that we feel that we are suspended in mid-air with no landing in sight. It forces us to unravel our wings and begin our flight of re discovery of ourselves.

As we fly, we still may not know where we are going to. But the most sacred and important miracle is IN the unfolding of our wings. We may not know where we are going, but we know that so long as we have our wings spread open, the winds will carry us. When we get to the end of all the light we know, it is at that time that we step into the darkness of the unknown which can be very intimidating and frightening. Our Faith should be knowing that one of two things shall happen: either we will be given something solid to stand on, or we will be taught how to fly all over again as we once knew.

There are some things we should believe in and one of those things is “OURSELVES”. Faith isn’t about perfect attendance to church services, or how much money we put on the offering plate, or how grand our offerings are to the divine. It isn’t about going sky clad to the Holy Rites, or meditating each day upon the divine. Faith is about what WE do.

It’s about aspiring to be better and nobler and kinder than we are. It’s about making sacrifices for the good of others even when there’s not going to be anyone telling us what a hero we are. Having strong faith about our sanctification will be an experience that will have heart wrenching moments at times that will test your faith, our endurance, and our patience. There are some places in life where we have to travel alone, to discover the answers we seek.

Embrace the beauty of your solo journey My darlings for what we are waiting for is not as important as what happens to us while we are waiting. Trust yourself and the process. Bright Blessings:-)
